I am longing for days like these. those days.
they seem so far away.
but I know they’ll come back. even brighter.

Sorry for my absence. But work keeps me busy and my broken foot doesn’t make things easier. But there will be a change soon. Looks like 2010 is going to be an exciting year with many changes. I will tell you more about it in the near future. The only thing I can say is that I am full of ideas and that I really miss some people. People I haven’t talked to for a very long time. People who are miles away. Some only a few Kilometres. Some a few thousand. People I really love. People I saw yesterday and already miss them and people I haven’t seen for a zillion years. And even people from my everyday life. soon.soon.
Take a deep breath of the last summer air and hold it until the end of the year.

Zenit EM
Last week. I got a new toy. A Zenit EM.
I loaded it with a roll of Agfa Precisa 100. Here are the results.
What should I say. I’m already in love with this camera and this type of film. (btw. it’s cross processed.)

I love autumn. Especially when it’s this nice as at the moment. Colours. Sun. Bon Iver. Fever Ray.
Going to the cinema.

Daydreaming and flea markets.
Jety already looks like from “Back to the future”:

More photos during the next days. I need to find some time to scan them.
Full of work. Hurting foot. Looking forward to the weekend.
But for know I am too tired to write more. Try to catch some sleep.
Headache.

Last Sunday at Café Dinzler.
This Sunday it will be the same.
I am so looking forward.

Reading Jon Fosse and having Ben & Jerry’s.
“My plays depict simple people in a not too simple world.” - Jon Fosse.
I got this as a gift from an elderly woman today. How nice is that please?!
It’s for watching Super8 films. Right now you can see me on a stripe I shot two years ago in
London.
Can’t wait to get the one from New York in it!
Photo inspiration: My car.
I joined Matts idea of talking about photography inspiration.
It’s about places or things you often take photos of. Photo taking wonts and patterns.
More details at: holgarific.net
For me it’s my car. Not as a thing. More as a place.
Just going for a ride, without knowing where it will lead you.
Turning on a great record in the car. I love music.
I am sure we all do. But for me there is no better way to listen to music than in my
car. Letting the world pass you by, see the reflections of the sun on the street, rolling the windows down and let the wind go through your hair and putting on your sunglasses because of the blinding sunset.

Going for a ride is the best relaxation for me. I can leave all the busy things from
work behind me. I can let my mind flow along the streets and get new ideas.
It’s always a deep fresh breath for my soul.
But of course all this driving around leads you to great places, to great moments and great light situations. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because of going with the
flow. Haha “Going with the flow” sounds so ‘69, just like “give me your hand and follow your inner light”.
But I hope you know what I mean.
What I wanted to say is: what could a photo-taking guy like me more wish for than
“great places, moments and light situations”. To say it with Matts words: My car is always “a safe bet to get me something”.

But it’s not only the driving arround. Parking the car up on a hill, watching the stars
and having good conversations is at least just as good. Or spending whole nights in there ‘cos you are
on a two/three days trip! It’s always fun.

And don’t think that I am kind of a dangerous and fast driving guy. No!
I am more the putting-my-hand-out-of-the-window-and-making-waves-with-my-hand-in-the-airflow guy.
Part of my family / Teil meiner Famile
Summer memories. / Sommererinnerungen
I have a very big family. What you can see here is a part of it. My dad, my mum, my brother, my aunt, uncles and cousins.
And obviously we went on a boat trip together.
So much fun.
I love my big family.
Maybe it sounds cheesy writing about his family and how much you love them, but there are so many families out there with misunderstandings, fights and tragedies. And there are people who never had a father or a mother.
So I think it would be very ungrateful to not mention how much I love them.
I know how lucky I am having a family like this. And I appreciate it everyday.
Everyone of them is totally crazy, insane, lovely, unique and open minded at the same time.
I owe everyone of them so much.
But I think they know how much I love them, because i really hurt my ass as i took this photo. The water was very low, I slipt on the ground and with one hand in the air to keep my camera dry I slithered along the ground. This was such a stupid (and really hurtful) scene.
// summa summarum auf Deutsch: Ich liebe meine Familie mit allem was dazugehört, Tanten, Onkel, Cousins und Cousinen. Und wer bayrisch versteht hört sich einfach folgendes Lied darunter an.
