Goodbye to my Wurstwarenfachverkäuferin
Today was the last working day of Verena. The Wurstwarenfachverkäuferin in my street.
First of all, I have no fu**ing Idea how to translate her profession. If anybody knows. Feel free to tell me! I give it a try: She’s a butcher, sells meat, sells sausages and snacks. There you go.
As I said, today was her last day. She served her apprenticeship in this shop and has been working there for the last three years. I bought my sandwiches there nearly every day. So Verena was my breakfastmaker!
And that’s the reason why I went there today with a bunch of flowers.
To say thank you and goodbye and to take a pola with her.
Her boss (an elder woman) took it. She was kind of overstrained with my camera,
first she didn’t find the viewfinder, then she had problems finding the right angle and as she finally pressed the release button she put her hand instantly in front of the camera to catch the photo, in fear that this thing throws polas like frisbees through the air.
So all that’s left to say is: Thank you Verena for the great sandwiches,
ice teas and zillion Leberkäsesemmeln.
All the best for your future plans!
- your freaky costumer.
