It’s the strength of a winter night, the smell of summer evening and the peace of a lonely glassy lake somewhere in the Swedish woods.

I am talking about Sigur Rós. From Iceland.
Now Jón Pór Birgisson (the lead singer of Sigur Rós) and his boyfriend
Alex Somers (from the band Parachutes) made a record together.

They call themselves Jónsi & Alex. And their first record Riceboy Sleeps is up for sale right now we’re talking. It’s a beautiful 68-minute album containing 12 songs they have recorded in their home between 2003 and 2009.
